Villa La Contessa offers the opportunity to stay in one of the most beautiful and fascinating place in Italy: Chianti, in particular the area surrounding the Val d’Arbia, Montalcino, Montepulciano. The property is located in a dominant position on a small hill, offering an absolutely amazing “360 degree view”, ensuring at the same time maximum privacy and tranquillity, being separated from the surrounding properties.

A short, well-maintained unpaved road will lead you to the villa. The main complex is surrounded by an area with shed ( closed to guests), parking garages, a vegetable patch that is maintained daily by the gardener and whose products can be tasted ,a small park with swimming pool (12 x 6 m), and a separate area with a hammock. Just in front of the main house and the covered porch with table for about 18 people is the Guest house. In addition, you can use the barbecue, ping-pong table, and of course the vast green space equipped with sun beds to relax and occasionally take a bath in the swimming pool. The external and internal areas of the property are covered by free Wi-Fi internet connection. The villa can be requested in smaller versions for a lower number of guests.

The villa (750 sqm), renewed in April 2013, it is still characterized by the magical atmosphere of a typical Tuscan farmhouse. There is the possibility to use the villa in exclusive, for the total number of guests (18), or for smaller versions to meet the requirements of smaller groups, respectively :

Ground floor: You can access the large living room with a thermal fireplace (energy-saving, providing electric energy) and vast space with armchairs, sofas and flat screen tv. Another interesting point is antique furniture, including a table and chest of fine workmanship. The hall with billiard table, sauna and jacuzzi is accessible from the porch: in the past it was a ruined barn, and the stone arches have been restructured and saved. The kitchen is divided into two spaces, one with side shelves to organize even cooking lessons, the other with a table, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. Next to to the kitchen is an additional living room with sofa, Tv Flat. The bedrooms are 2 (double beds which can be separated), with 2 full bathrooms.
First floor: It can be accessed through 2 different entrances, making it partially independent to be rented separately. There are a total of 6 bedrooms (double beds which can be separated), with 6 full bathrooms. 3 of the total rooms are equipped with air conditioning. There are also a rustic kitchen that reflects the original structure of the house, with fireplace, stone floor and complete equipments; 2 living rooms, the first one in Oriental style with a long wooden table, the other one with an ancient fireplace, really fascinating.
Guest house: easily accessible through the garden (10 meters from the main entrance of the villa), this large and elegant living room is ideal for a couple: it has a living room, a double bedroom (the bed can be split in 2 single ones) and a complete bathroom.

CONDITIONS

This property can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday (only in Peak season) and smaller portions (14 and 12 people) cannot be rented in July and August.

Please be informed that the villa can also be booked in different versions with 6, 7 and 8 bedrooms and with reduced prices.
Security Deposit: Customers are required to pay € 1.000,00 security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay deducted from eventual damages or other extra services.
